Q. What is infrared thermography?
Thermography utilizes radiation emitted in the infrared spectrum of an object to measure and image thermal problems that are not visible to the naked eye.

Q. Why should I have an inspection done?
An infrared inspection at your facility can determine the condition of your electrical and mechanical components and connections. Identifying problems enables repairs to be made and avoids the expensive consequences of a failure.

Q. Do I need to shut down my equipment during an inspection?
No. Inspections are non-invasive. In fact, all equipment must be operating. Your electrical/mechanical equipment should be under full load. The higher the current flow, the more power will be dissipated.

Q. What is the cost?
The cost of infrared inspection is based on an hourly fee with a two hour minimum. Your price will vary based on the amount of time and the complexity of your desired service. We will be happy to provide you with a free estimate.

Q. What can I expect after completion of the inspection?
